90-Day Refund Policy

What we promise

If your city has not gone live with at least one verified partner business within 90 days of your first paid month, you can request a full refund of every membership payment you've made to date. No questions, no fine print.

This guarantee applies to founding members only — people who join before their city goes live. It is a launch promise, not a permanent feature of the membership.

How escrow works pre-launch

Until your city launches, your monthly contribution is held in a Stripe-backed deposit account rather than paid out to any business. It does not enter the member pool until launch day. This is what makes the 90-day refund possible.

How to request a refund

1. Email support@tippingclub.org from the address on your account.
2. Include the subject line "Refund request".
3. We confirm receipt within 1 business day and issue the refund to your original payment method within 5–10 business days.

After your city launches — standard policy

Once your city is live and your monthly contribution starts joining the member pool, the 90-day guarantee ends and our standard policy applies: cancel anytime, no refunds for time already paid. Cancelling stops all future charges, and your membership stays active through the end of the period you've paid for. Payments already released to partner-venue teams through the pool cannot be refunded — that money is already in the hands of the people it was meant for.

Cancelling on your own

You can cancel your subscription at any time from your member dashboard. Cancelling stops future charges immediately but does not, by itself, trigger a refund — for that, please email us using the steps above so we can confirm you qualify under the 90-day guarantee.
